Katie Kostival is a fifth-generation Athens County resident, special educator, mother, wife, and passionate advocate for children in Southeast Ohio. Katie was born in Chauncey, grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and now lives outside Athens. She graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s in Special Education, then taught in Title I schools in Alexandria, Virginia, and Athens County. Katie is a member of the Circle of the Children’s Conservation League. She loves to travel with her husband, Will, and son, Charlie.
